The thought behind this work, was to find some language and between form and shape. At the time, I had a need and a feeling to make place, to form something out of nothing. I started piecing together vessel forms in an organic, geometric fashion, thinking about curves from angles and creating a landscape with no intentional resting point as an object. For me they are mtns and valley depending on how you hold them. The finished surface is graphite and wax.
